Kashmir Highway Has Been Renamed as Srinagar Highway Ahead of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir

Mr. Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister of Pakistan declared 5th August 2020 as the day of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir. This is one of the darkest days of history of Kashmir.The announcement to observe Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir came on Friday 31st July 2020 from the Foreign Minster.

According to Dunya News, Government has renamed Islamabad’s Kashmir Highway as Srinagar Highway to express its solidarity with Kashmiris. The direction boards on the major points like Golra Chowk, Zero Point, Faizabad and Dhokari Chowk were also updated.

English Poem Kashmiri Lives Matter Released by ISPR

Message to Kashmiris Living in Azad and Occupied Kashmir

Addressing to the media, Mr. Shah said that Kashmiris have suffered so much during the last one year. Today we want to give a very clear message from Pakistani Government and Ambassador of Kashmir, Mr. Imran Khan to Kashmiris living in Independent and Occupied Jammu & Kashmir or in any part of the world that we will stand with you until or unless you achieve your right to self determination.

Solidarity Walk to Show Solidarity with Kashmiris

Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan will lead a Solidarity Walk along with President and Prime Minster of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The solidarity walk will be held on 5th August in Muzaffarabad and it will be joined by a large number of Kashmiris.

One Minute Silence

The solidarity walk will be a major event which will be observed all across the country by political leadership. It does not matter what political party you belong to, if you support Kashmiris, you can take part in Solidarity walk. Besides a one minute silence will also be observed at 10 am on Wednesday 5th August 2020.

Addition of a New Chapter in the History of Kashmir

Mr. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Kashmiris know their history of struggle and sacrifices for the right of self determination. However, 5th August 2019 was a turning point in their struggle and it has opened a new chapter in their long history. Indian government has tried to destroy the unique identity of kashimiri by dividing the region into three parts. Kashmiris either they are Hindu, Buddhist, or Muslims have not accepted the changes made by Indian government.

PM Khan Will Address to Kashmir Assembly

Mr. Shah Mahmood Qureshi further informed the media that the Prime Minster of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan will be addressing to the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu & Kashmir on Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir.

Undoubtedly, Mr. Khan and his team made so much effort to turn world’s leaders’ attention towards illegal action of Indian government. Unfortunately, they turned blind eyes. Even powerful Muslims countries did not pay any heed to this important issue and preferred their economic interests with India.
