With his classical batting style, he has been able to create a huge fan base all across the world including UK. In 2019, he spent time with Somerset County Cricket Club and left a great impact on the audience. This 25-year old cricketer made 578 runs including 4 half and 1 full centuries. He amazed the audience with 14 6s and 60 4s during the matches.
Besides, winning awards, he also won hearts of hundred of cricket fans from UK including a five year old UK kid Oscar. The kid wrote a pretty simple letter to Babar Azam in his innocent words.

The kid (Oscar) wrote an essay about Babar Azim and it was posted by Somerset County Cricket Club from their official twitter account.
The club mentioned him as “hero of millions” in its twitter post and the Kid mentioned him as the best batsman of 2020.
